BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) — Two people were killed on Benton County highways this weekend.

A woman died Saturday night (June 4) while driving on Southeast 14th Street in Bentonville, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

Janet Everts, 57, of Garfield died when another vehicle crossed the center line striking her Nissan head-on just before 10:30 p.m., the report states. Everts’ car then spun sideways and was hit by a third vehicle.

There were no injured individuals listed on the crash report, but the report does mention injured parties were taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

A man also died Sunday (June 5) following a motorcycle wreck on Highway 62 west of Garfield. His passenger was also injured.

Dwayne Crouch, 55, of Mount Vernon, Missouri was killed after he braked abruptly and struck a concrete curb near the right lane, according to an ASP report. The motorcycle began sliding on its side and both Crouch and his passenger were thrown from the bike hitting the concrete, the report states.

Lynn Ann Rector-Ramer, 60, of Bella Vista was taken to St. John’s Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri then to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
