Police: Stabbing Ensues After Man Is Called A “Snitch,” Suspect Search Continues

FORT SMITH (KFSM) — Fort Smith Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of stabbing another man early Thursday morning (June 9).

Phillip Walston, 29, has an active warrant for second degree battery and is carrying a $5,000 bond, according to a department press release.

He is believed to be staying with various friends in the Fort Smith area.

Walston is accused of stabbing  25-year-old Tory Rambo in the stomach, after they got in a confrontation at Briarwood Apartments around 5 a.m., the release states. The victim confronted Walston, who was with some acquaintances, over being called a “snitch.”
