GARFIELD (KFSM) — A temporary boil order issued due to a pressure loss is scheduled to last through the weekend.
According to Garfield Mayor Gary Blackburn, the pressure loss occurred Thursday night (June 9), and precautionary testing began Friday.
The city’s Facebook page stated that those living in the city would have to boil their water until Monday (June 13).
Garfield Water customers are able to pick up free bottled water at the city hall, provided they show show proof of service.
Sam’s Club has also provided the city with pallets of water at a discounted price.
