Three Arrested After Handcuffing, Pepper-Spraying Man During Robbery

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Three people were arrested Saturday (June 11) after they broke into an apartment in Springdale and handcuffed and pepper sprayed the man who lived there.

Amanda Elizabeth Brown, 27, Holly Ann Hendrix, 27, and Conor Riley McGeady, 28, are all being held at the Washington County Detention Center in connection to the robbery, according to jail records.

Police were called to an apartment on South Johnson Road Thursday night in response to a possible robbery, arrest reports state.

The victim told police Hendrix had come to his apartment to ask to use a phone when three other people rushed in, punched him several times, and pepper sprayed him in the face, according to the reports. The victim said he was also handcuffed and left on the floor, the reports state.

The suspects took the victim’s PlayStation and DVR, according to the reports. Officers found the stolen items in the suspects’ apartment. They also found a small, silver gun, the reports state.

When police interviewed Hendrix she told them she, McGeady, Brown and Quentin Thomas planned to rob the victim, according to the reports. Thomas handcuffed the victim and McGeady punched him in the head, the reports state.

Hendrix is facing charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated residential burglary, third-degree battery, and theft of property, jail records show. Her bond has been set at $250,000. McGeady is facing the same charges and his bond has also been set at $250,000, according to jail records.

Brown is facing those same charges and an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after finding marijuana grow equipment that belonged to her, arrest reports state.

There is no record of a Quentin Thomas at the Washington County Detention Center.
