RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) — Two swim beaches that were closed recently after testing showed raised E. coli levels have reopened.
The Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office stated that Shoal Bay and Piney Bay swim beaches have been retested and officials have determined they are safe for public use.
According to Corps officials, the high bacteria levels could be from run-off following recent heavy rains.
