FORT SMITH (KFSM) — Police have begun searching for a suspect or suspects after responding to a call on Wednesday (June 15).
Police said the original 911 call came in as a person stabbed on North 49th and High Street.
A 13-year-old called police, informing them that a man was bleeding and lying in a ditch near the intersection.
Police stated that the victim may have been dropped off there but now believe his injuries are from a fight. They said once he was taken to the hospital they discovered his injuries were not from a stabbing.
