WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) — A woman died Wednesday (June 15) after a fire broke out in her trailer home, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders received a call about the fire on Washington County Road 2187 in Wedington Woods just before midnight.
Mary Carpenter, 82, was found dead in the home, according to the sheriff’s office. Her body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine cause of death.
The cause of fire is also under investigation.
