EUGENE (KFSM)- Arkansas junior Clive Pullen won the men’s triple jump with a career best 16.90 meters at the Olympic trials.  Pullen’s career best jump qualified him to be on Jamaica’s roster for the Olympic games.

According the The Gleaner, a Jamaican newspaper, Pullen is the first Jamaican man since 1972 to qualify for the Olympic games in the triple jump.

The Kingston native is the 2016 NCAA Indoor champion (triple jump), a four-time All-American, and 2016 SEC Indoor champion (triple jump).

Te 2016 Olympic games will be August 5-21 in Rio de Janerio, Brazil.
