SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Springdale police arrested a man Thursday (June 30) for breaking into several homes, telling a woman he was going to killer her and sexually assaulting a young girl.

Police were called to Tucson Loop after dispatch was told a man had broken into a home through a window, the arrest report states. The caller said his wife woke up to a man holding her hands and covering her mouth, the report states.

The woman told officers the suspect told her he was going to killer her and cut her hand before he ran from the house, according to the report.

The man was identified as Joab Job, 21, and police determined he also lived on Tucson Loop, the report states.

He was arrested on unrelated warrants and during an interview with officers he admitted to break into several homes in the area of Tucson and Tolleson Loop in Springdale, according to the report.

Job also admitted he broke into another home on Tucson Loop where he found a young girl, the report states. The victim told officers the suspect got on top of her in a sexual manner, but Job denied the allegations, according to the report.

Job also admitted he used his hands to push up the windows in every home he broke into, the report states.

Job is facing several charges including residential burglary, aggravated residential burglary, theft of property, third-degree battery, terroristic threatening and fourth-degree sexual assault, according to jail records.

Police have requested a bond of $100,000 for Job, according to his arrest report.

Springdale police believe there could be more victims in the area of Bayyari Elementary School who have not reported their home was broke into, they are asking anyone with information on any robberies or burglaries in this area to report it to the Criminal Investigation Division at (479) 750-8139.
