GREENWOOD (KFSM) -- A Greenwood business owner is boosting morale by selling car decals and t-shirt that show support for local police.

Greenwood Police Chief Will Dawson said the shooting deaths of five police officers in Dallas has weighed heavily on his force. Since then there has been an outpouring of support for police in local communities.

John McKinney, owner of 4MAC, designed decals, t-shirts and flyers that express that support. The merchandise features an American flag with a blue stripe in the middle, which symbolizes the brotherhood shared by law enforcement.

"Everyone around here has been extremely supportive," McKinney said.

And Dawson agrees.

"Everyday we are receiving cards, people are bringing food, people are calling," he said. "It's just a way of the community coming together to show support of the police department and not just us, but all police officers."

A portion of McKinney's sales will go toward the Greenwood Police Department for their "Cops, Kids and Christmas" program.

Flyers showing support for law enforcement are free at the Greenwood Police Department. Car decals and t-shirts can be purchased at 4MAC. Decals are $8 and t-shirts are $14.
