FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- One person is injured after shots were reportedly fired at a Fayetteville apartment complex late Monday night (July 25).
Dispatchers said the shooting happened at Appleby Apartments on Gregg Avenue around 11 p.m.
According to officers on scene, an 18-year-old male was injured in the shooting with non-life threatening injuries. Police said a preliminary investigation shows the shooting happened outdoors.
Police are searching for a suspect described as a white male around 5'6" tall. Officers said their K9 units were out searching the surrounding area for articles of clothing and other items from the suspect.
Fayetteville Police said they do not believe there is any threat to the community at this time.
