One Arrested, One Hospitalized After Stabbing In Lincoln

LINCOLN (KFSM) — One man is hospitalized and one is in custody following a stabbing in Lincoln on Thursday night (July 28).

According to Chief of Police, Russell Morphis, officers were called to 132 South Highway 45 around 10:55 p.m. The victim was stabbed twice in the neck and once on the upper right arm. The victim was immediately taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, Morphis said.

Coleman Hanegan III, 35, was later located in the Farmington area and was arrested and charged with second degree battery, according to Morphis.

Hanegan is being held at the Washington County Detention Center.
