FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Crain Automotive Team broke ground on a new $6 million facility in Fayetteville on Monday (Aug. 1).
The new 19,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open in spring of 2017, according to a company press release. The state-of-the-art facility will be built on 2011 W. Foxglove Drive and will house the Crain Volkswagen that is currently in Springdale.
Several Crain officials were on hand for a ceremonial groundbreaking at 2 p.m., including Crain Automotive president Chris Crain.
“Our new location will allow us to serve the Northwest Arkansas area better than ever before by offering more inventory, larger state of the art part and service departments, and amenities second to none,” Crain said.
Crain Automotive has 10 locations in Central Arkansas and six locations in the northwest part of the state.
