FORT SMITH(KFSM) - Kids will be heading back to the classroom in the next week or two so it's time for parents to start back-to-school shopping. However, that can break the bank quickly, but there's one event that's happening this week that is sure to help.

The annual Growing Kids Sale kicks off at Kay Rogers Park on Thursday (Aug.4). Parents can stop and find thousands of gently used items that are perfect for kids of all ages. Organizers said they have more products this time around than ever before. More than a thousand families donated items to make the sale happen. "We have more clothes than we have ever had in the 13 years we have been doing this sale, " said Director Faith Beeman.

Everything inside the Expo Center is up to 75 percent off retail price in addition to tax free.

The Growing Kids Sale continues Friday and Saturday. The doors are open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Admission is free.
