FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Police are investigating after one man is injured in an overnight stabbing.
Authorities responded to a call on Sunday around 2:30 a.m. about an altercation between two men outside the Silver Dollar Cabaret on 2125 College Avenue.
The incident happened after two separate males tried to intervene between the two men.
According to Sgt. Craig Stout, the victim was stabbed one time in the abdomen and twice in the chest. He was taken to the Washington Regional Medical Center where he sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police haven’t identified a suspect but according to witnesses, the suspect involved was a Hispanic male. At this time, no names have been released.
