“Our energy level just wasn’t where it needed to be early on, but credit our guys for fighting back and tying the game,” Arkansas coach Mike Anderson said. “We had a few bright spots from the younger players, but all in all this is going to be a learning experience as we grow as a team.”

Dusty Hannahs and Manuel Watkins led Arkansas with 11 points while newcomer Daryl Macon added 10.

Arkansas struggled from the field as they connected on 28-of-63 attempts (44.4 percent). Moses Kingsley was hampered with foul trouble as he finished with seven points, four rebounds and three blocks before fouling out.

The Razorbacks trailed by as much as 16 points before rallying to tie the game at 75-75 but was outscored 6-0 in the closing 69 seconds.

Arkansas will face Albacete Basket at 10:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday morning.
