ROLAND (KFSM) — A semi-truck carrying about 42,000 pounds of frozen turkey caught on fire on Interstate 40 near Roland on Tuesday morning (Aug. 9).
The semi was traveling westbound on Interstate 40 when the truck caught on fire around 8 a.m. Crews on scene said the fire started because of the brakes.
It took fire crews about an hour to put out the flames.
The driver of the semi was uninjured.
