A new Harvard study showed that millions of Americans may be exposed to unsafe drinking water.
Scientists found unsafe levels of industrial chemicals called PFSAs in water samples arcoss the United States.
They're used to make things like food packaging, fabricks, and nonstick pans.
However, when these PFSAs are ingested, they can cause health problems.
Studies have linked the chemicals to high cholesterol, obesity and even cancer.
Other studies indicate they may weaken the immune system of children.
Samples show the highest levels of PFSAs were near industrial sites, military bases and wastewater treatment plants.
