JOHNSON COUNTY (KFSM) — Officers are investigating a woman’s death after kayakers found her body in a Johnson County lake on Wednesday (Aug. 10).
The kayakers found the body in a swimming area on Horse Head Lake, and immediately called 911 and began CPR, according to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office press release. When paramedics arrived, they took over CPR but were unsuccessful at reviving the woman.
This is an active investigation.
The identity of the woman has not been released, pending notification of family.
