Spending 30 minutes a day with a good book may add years to your life.
Researchers at Yale University said that of the 3,600 people surveyed about their health and reading habits, bookworms were 20 percent less likely to die over the next 12 years.
The study also found that reading books seemed to improve people's health, more so than reading magazines or newspapers.
Researchers said that's because books engage readers' minds more, introducing readers to different themes and characters in greater length and depth.
