Van Buren Store Clerk Held At Gunpoint In Armed Robbery

VAN BUREN (KFSM) — Deputies with the Crawford County Sheriffs Department said a store clerk on Highway 64 in Crawford County was robbed at gunpoint late Friday night (Aug. 12).

Deputies said the store clerk, a female, was putting up stock when two white males came in wearing masks.

They said the two white males forced the clerk to the front of the store with a shotgun and made her empty the register.

Investigators said the two suspects jumped into a dark SUV type vehicle and fled the scene.

The robbery happened on Highway 64 at Super Stop just after 9 p.m., deputies said.
