SPRINGDALE (KFSM) - Expectations have always been high at Shiloh Christian but the return of 10 offensive starters has the Saints eye a march to War Memorial Stadium.

Senior quarterback Connor Reece is back for his third season as the starter and accounted for more than 2,900 yards and 31 total touchdowns (24 passing) in 2015. Shiloh Christian coach Jeff Conaway said Reece is like having a coach on the field, which is perfect for the Saints hurry-up offense.

Reece will have plenty of weapons on the offensive side as Tyler Roth is the big play threat on the outside while Broc Berus provides a bruising running style from the backfield. Those weapons have set the bar high for the Saints, but that's nothing new.

"The expectation is there," Conaway said. "It's always been there and we want our guys to be placed in those moments where they have to handle pressure so we obviously do that through practice. We try to place them in pressure situations to see where they're at."

Though Shiloh Christian is a preseason top-5 team, Reece isn't putting too much stoke into what the outside is saying about his team.

"We're just working to do something that we haven't done in a long time," Reece said. "I think we have the talent to do it. This team has really come together this fall and I think we've got the senior class, we've got the leadership that we can do something special this year."
