FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – The offseason has been full of preseason accolades for senior offensive lineman Dan Skipper and that continued on Thursday as he was one of six Razorbacks named to the preseason All-SEC teams.

Skipper was the only Arkansas player named to the 1st team by the league’s coach while Brooks Ellis was tabbed as a second team linebacker. Tight end Jeremy Sprinkle, center Frank Ragnow, receiver Drew Morgan and defensive end Deatrich Wise were each named to the SEC’s preseason 3rd team.

Skipper has been named to the Outland Trophy watch list after earning all conference honors in 2015. The 6-foot-10 senior made the move to left tackle after playing all 13 games last season at right tackle.

Ellis led the Razorbacks with 102 tackles and finished ninth in the SEC.

Sprinkle is thought to be one of the best tight ends in the nation after he hauled in a SEC leading six touchdowns at his position. Morgan led the Hogs with 63 catches, 843 yards and 10 touchdowns.
