SPRINGDALE (KFSM) -- Many kids are back at school now, but not everyone had enough time to do all of their back to school shopping, especially since it can be very expensive.
Rhea Lana's is a consignment event in Springdale that sells children's clothing and toys at a fraction of the retail price. They only have their sales a couple times a year and this whole week is their back to school sale. They've got clothing, shoes, backpacks -- basically everything kids could need. There's even maternity clothing, baby equipment, pack and plays...you name it and they've most likely got it.
This is an event to give back to the community. There's even a wall of pictures filled with children who are having a difficult time being adopted, it's called the Arkansas Traveling Gallery and it has information for families curious about how to adopt a child.
Families can enter their items online so consignors can track their sales live on their phone or on their computer. And when shoppers come in everything is set up in a very organized way and they check out just like if they were shopping at a department store.
"Rhea Lana's is all about moms helping moms," said owner Ashley Noland. "So when families come and shop at Rhea Lana's they're actually helping families in the community, so that money goes back into that family's budget and then they can use that money to buy things that their children need for the next season."
Rhea Lana's will be open until Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 1106 N. Old Missouri Road.
