ROGERS (KFSM) -- The 32nd Annual Frisco Fest started on Friday (Aug. 26) in Rogers, which means many of the streets in downtown will be closed.

The festival is a great way for local businesses to promote their brand and for people in the community to shop local. Organizers said they have more than 120 vendors that will be featured this year. There's also a concert happening Friday night, along with salsa dancing.

If you need to entertain your kids, there will also be a huge kids zone for the whole family to enjoy.

"This is great," said Jessica Rush, director of Main Street Rogers. "There's a ton of great small businesses in downtown, both restaurants and store owners and retail. This is a great opportunity to get people to come down and see what we have to offer."

Everything gets underway at 5 p.m. on Friday and the fun will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

A few streets will be closed for the festival, including First Street from Walnut to Cherry Street, Second Street from Walnut to Poplar, Third Street from Walnut to Poplar, and Elm Street from Fourth to First Street.
