America's blood supply is being screened for the Zika virus.
The food and drug administration recommended that all donated blood be tested to stop any spread of the mosquito born virus.
It's especially concerned that an expectant mother could unwittingly receive infected blood, and pass along the virus to her unborn baby.
Blood testing has already started in Florida and Puerto Rico.
11 other southern states will start testing by the end of September.
