A celebration took place in Fort Smith, over the weekend, highlighting the success of local men and women.
“This party is for you guys. Because without you, what I’m doing doesn't mean anything,” Brandon Morrison, the owner of Body Tailors, said to a group of his clients Saturday night.
Morrison has come a long way since 5NEWS first did a story with him in early 2014. At that time, he had 13 clients whom he trained out of his garage. Later that year, his numbers went up, so he expanded into a 700 sq/ft facility. But his clientele continued to grow, forcing him into an even bigger space the following year. He now has 2,200 sq/ft and roughly 240 clients. His secret? A program called FitRanX.
“FitRanX is just a standardized testing system to help people focus on their fitness versus focusing on the scale,” Morrison said. “They progressively get harder, as we move up through 8 different levels.”
And this system appears to be working.
“I’m down a little over 30 pounds,” Anthony Sacco said. “None of my pants fit. None of my shirts fit. I had to go down a lot on my sizes, because I lost so much weight and got fit. It’s just an amazing feeling.”
“I’ve lost about 30 pounds since I started doing the program, and I’ve noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit, muscle definition and, of course, that makes you happier. When you don't like the way you look in anything, it kind of makes you self-conscious,” Miranda Adamson said.
