FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — Lester Ballinger, 28, pled guilty to first-degree murder in the September 2015 death of 23-year-old Justin Broomfield, of Denning.
Judge William Pearson sentenced Ballinger to 40 years in prison.
He was also sentenced six years for second-degree battery, six years for criminal mischief and six years for aggravated assault. Each of these sentences will run concurrent with his 40 year sentence.
