RIVER VALLEY/NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (KFSM) — Tribune Broadcasting and DISH Network L.L.C. announced in a press release today (Sept. 3) a long-term, comprehensive agreement on carriage and retransmission consent.
This agreement restores DISH on Tribune Broadcasting’s 42 local television stations, including 5NEWS.
The companies issued the following joint statement:
“We want to thank our viewers and customers for their patience and support as we worked through this lengthy process. We’re pleased to move forward and again be able to provide the content of Tribune’s local stations and WGN America for years to come.”
Tribune’s local stations are expected to be available to DISH customers later today. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
