Earthquake Doesn’t Stop Hog Fans From Tailgating

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- Around 7 a.m. folks throughout the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas woke up to the ground shaking.

Razorback fan Ally Owens said they had no idea what was going on.

"All of the sudden I was laying there and the bed just started moving around on me," Owens said.

Many fans were at home rounding up for the first game of the season when a 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook up the area, but that didn't stop fans from making their way to the tailgate. Owens said they just thought it was the Hogs coming to town.

Besides all things Razorbacks, the earthquake was the talk of the tailgate. Many people had never experienced anything like it. Owen said she made sure to tell her son that he got to feel an earthquake.
