NORTHWEST ARKANSAS/RIVER VALLEY (KFSM)-The U.S. Geological Survey confirms a 5.6 magnitude earthquake happened 8.7 miles Northwest of Pawnee, Oklahoma. It was followed by multiple aftershocks.
The earthquake was felt all over the area Saturday (Sept. 3) just after 7 a.m.
Many residents said they felt their house shake for several seconds. People in Tennessee, Texas and Iowa are also said they felt tremors.
