Rogers’ John Q. Hammons Center Evacuated Following Bomb Threat

ROGERS (KFSM) — The John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers was evacuated Tuesday (Sept. 13) following a bomb threat.

The event center was evacuated just after 9:30 a.m. as a precaution after a non-specific bomb threat was made, the Rogers Police Department said.

Police are investigating.

The Northwest Arkansas Business Women’s Conference was underway when John Q. Hammons Center staff made the decision to evacuate the building, according to police.

The building was cleared and staff and guests were allowed to return inside by 10:15 a.m.
