Garrett’s Blog: Wednesday Rain Totals; More Rain Thursday

The showers and storms from the afternoon have given way to clearing skies this evening with the possibility of patchy fog developing overnight into Thursday morning. Another round of showers is likely on Thursday with yet more widespread rain on Friday.


Rain totals were highest in NW Arkansas near Fayetteville and east of town.


RainVision shows the heaviest rainfall from Wednesday. Notice the darker blue colors in NE Washington county to just north of Huntsville.


We’ll see a repeat of scattered showers again on Thursday with another round expected on Friday. Both days will favor the best rain chances in the afternoon and evening. Rain on Friday could linger into the overnight or Saturday.
