FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — A student at the University of Arkansas was found dead inside her car in a hotel parking lot on Friday (Sept. 16), according to the University of Arkansas Police Department.
Police said officers found Ashley Lane Marrs, 18, dead shortly after 6 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of the Super 8 Hotel located on Shiloh Drive in Fayetteville.
Marrs’ parents called the police department to report her missing around noon on Friday, police said. The parents told police their daughter suffered from depression and they were concerned that she might hurt herself.
Police said there were no signs of foul play.
