SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KFSM) -- The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary Friday (Sept. 23) after two suspects drove a truck into a store and stole an ATM.
According to Sheriff Ron Lockhart, the burglary happened around 3:30 a.m. at Pier Seven Store, which is south of Sallisaw on Highway 59.
"Two [black] male subjects used a white Dodge crew cab dual-flatbed to ram into the front door. After gaining access via the front door they loaded up the ATM and drove off heading into LeFlore County," Lockhart said.
Deputies located the truck believed to have been used in the burglary around 7 a.m. just across the bridge in LeFlore County, Lockhart said. The suspects dumped the truck, which was confirmed as stolen, and the ATM machine after breaking into it.
