FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Bikes, Blues & BBQ is in the books for 2016 with only seven accidents to report and more than two dozen arrests, mainly for public intoxication, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

The most serious accident happened on Friday at the intersection of E. Township Street and N. College Avenue.  A truck and motorcycle collided and the riders of the motorcycle suffered broken legs but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Several police citations were issued for excessive noise, and in some cases this led to an additional citation such as driving on a suspended license.  That’s what happened to Kyle Rofkahr of Ozark who initially was cited on Saturday for engine revving at W. Dickson Street and N. Church Avenue.

Only one bike was reported stolen on Thursday.  A 1994 Harley Davidson was taken from the area of W. Dickson Street and N. College Avenue.

This is the 17th year for the motorcycle rally, and is the world’s largest charity driven rally, according to their website.
