Charleston Under Boil Order After Water Main Break

FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — Charleston was put under a boil order on Monday (Sept. 26) after the the town had a water main break.

After the water main broke, the city’s water lines had a loss of pressure, said Tonya Sneed, water superintendent of Charleston. City officials decided to declare a boil order as a precaution.

The city will be under a boil order until further notice.
