BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — A Bentonville man died on Monday (Oct. 10) from injuries he sustained during a head-on collision accident over the weekend.
John Garlinger, 84, was rushed to a Springfield, Missouri hospital on Saturday (Oct. 8) after he was in a car accident shortly before 6 p.m., according to a Bentonville Police Department press release. Garlinger was riding with family members going south on Water Tower Road when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male crossed the center lane and hit their vehicle head on.
The accident is still under investigation.
