Champions Hall On U Of A Campus Evacuated After Chemical Spill

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- Champions Hall on the University of Arkansas Campus was evacuated on Monday (Oct. 10) after a chemical spill.

Several fire crews and a hazmat unit responded to check out the building shortly after 4 p.m., according to the University of Arkansas Police Department. A chemical spill was reported on the first floor of the building in the chemical storage area.

The building is on the corner of Duncan Avenue and Williams Drive inside the University of Arkansas campus. Traffic on Dickson Street has been diverted.

The fire department is keeping people away from the building.
