CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) — Several agencies are on scene after a home went up in flames in Crawford County early Wednesday morning (Oct. 12).
According to crews, the two-story home on Highway 59 was fully engulfed when they arrived on scene a little after 3 a.m.
The Figure Five Fire Department is working the fire, but backup from Cedarville and District Four have been called in for assistance.
Firefighters said no one was inside the home during the blaze. According to Figure Five Fire Chief Dale Ingle, a couple had recently bought the house and had been in the process of remodeling it.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
