A new study shows supplement use is on the rise across the found about half of American adults take some type of dietary supplement.

Researchers tracked the use of vitamins and supplements among 38 thousand people from 1999 to 2012.

Supplement use stayed stable at about 52%, but the use of multi vitamins went down, the survey also showed greater use of vitamin D and fish oil supplements and a drop in the use of vitamins C, E, and Selenium.
