FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- It appears that vandals have struck Cisterna Park once again, after foamy bubbles floated out of the fountain on Friday (Oct. 14).

The white bubbles were floating into traffic as cars drove past the fountain early Friday morning.

This is the third time vandals dumped bubbles in the fountain in less than a week. Pink bubbles flew out of the fountain on Saturday (Oct. 8) and white bubbles came just days later on Monday (Oct. 10).

The foam takes several hours to clean up. Workers have to drain the fountain to clean up the bubbles each time.

The Fort Smith Police Department said anyone caught putting bubbles in the fountain will be charged with criminal mischief.
