A group of local firefighters are doing their part to raise awareness for different types of cancer during October.

Jimmy Vinyard and Andi Moneyham, of Fayetteville Firefighters Association Local 2866, joined Daren Bobb to discuss their department's "We Stand Together" drive, which raises awareness about the different cancers, including colon and intestine cancers, and  that target firefighters.

They are selling "We Stand Together" T-shirts, and the proceeds go toward the Washington County Cancer House, which helps people who are fighting the disease.

T-Shirts can be purchased on their social media pages or on their website.
