While the Fort Smith trail system has seen a lot of progress recently, it still needs a lot of work.
Daren Bobb sat down to chat with Casey Milspaugh and Griffin Hanna, both of Friends of Recreational Trails, to discuss the system.
FORT had an Ales for Trails fundraiser over the summer that raised more than $20,000 for the trail system. More than 1,000 people showed up for the event.
The trail system has upcoming projects in Chaffee Crossing, the "landfill loop" and the Greg Smith River Trail, which will be having a grand opening on Oct. 26.
