FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Dusty Hannahs returns as Arkansas’s leading scorer and he’s already catching attention across the nation.
The Razorbacks’ senior was named to the Jerry West shooting guard of the year watch list as only 20 players were named to the prestigious award. The winner will be announced on April 7, 2017 at the ESPN College Basketball Awards Show.
Hannahs averaged 16.5 points per game last season and closed out the year with a career high 33 points against Florida in the SEC tournament. Hannahs hit 81 3-pointers last season, the most for any returning player in the conference and also hit .433 percent from long distance.
Arkansas will host their annual Red-White scrimmage on Oct. 23 while the Razorbacks tip off the season on Nov. 11 against Fort Wayne.
