FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- University of Arkansas police officers held their annual Bike With A Cop event Thursday (Oct. 20) to help bring officers and the community together.
UAPD officers and community members hopped on their bikes for an afternoon of riding from the campus police station to the Town Branch Trail and back.
Cpl. Gabriel Golden said the event is a great way for officers to get involved with they people they serve and protect.
"We have always been a department that's all about community oriented policing and this is just another way to keep that going," Golden said. "We just think its the best way to police communities is to be a part of the community."
