High Scoring Red-White Game Showcases Razorback Basketball

Red Team Wins In Overtime

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)--Arkansas basketball was on display to the public for the first time this afternoon, as the annual Red-White game lit up Bud Walton Arena with scoring.

The Red team won 118-to-113 after a buzzer beating shot tied the game and forced a three minute overtime.

Four players notched double-doubles for the Razorbacks.

Senior Manuale Watkins had 25 points and 14 rebounds. Junior Arlando Cook scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, junior Anton Beard posted 16 points and a game high 11 assists, and Moses Kingsley had 27 points and 12 rebounds. The SEC Preseason Player of the Year helped the White team outscore the Red side by 15 points in the second half.

"The public finally got to see the team today, but it's about time for us to play someone other than ourselves. We played the Razorbacks today," said Coach Mike Anderson.

The two teams combined for 49 fouls in a whistle heavy game. The White team shot 48% from the field while the Red team shot 50%.
