SEBASTIAN COUNTY (KFSM) -- The Sebastian County Sheriff's Office identified two people who were found dead at their home in Sebastian County Sunday morning (Oct. 23).

Bill. E. Burrows, 47, and his wife Jodi Rachell Burrows, 44, were found at their home in the 2200 block of Highway 253 South in Greenwood.

The Sebastian County Sheriff's Department said they received a call around 10:30 a.m. Sunday regarding a male and female who were found by a family member in their residence.

Investigators are not releasing much information about how the couple died, but did say a handgun was found inside the home.

"There is an appearance that perhaps gunshots were present," said Sebastian County Chief Deputy Philip Pevehouse.

The bodies were taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and the investigation in ongoing. Investigators believe once they receive the preliminary autopsy report they will be able to determine what happened.

"We are trying to get to the bottom of it. We still have interviews we are conducting and we still have information that we are chasing down. So, it would be unwise at this point to say some sort of speculation without all the information in hand," Pevehouse said.
