PRAIRIE GROVE (KFSM) -- A massive 200-mile adventure relay race wrapped up Saturday (Oct. 22) in Northwest Arkansas.

Nice weather helped the participants in the "Outback in the Ozarks" relay that began Friday morning in Eureka Springs, continued overnight and finished Saturday at Prairie Grove Battlefield Park.

Ultra team member Adam Fortin said they won the relay because their six-person team was consistent in passing the baton every few miles.

Race finishers were able to relax after the relay with music and food and getting their medals.

The relay is on an open course with a total of 36 legs and it takes teams anywhere from 24 to 37 hours to finish the run.

Most of the course was set on forest service back roads.
