LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — A man accused of killing two people and shooting two Oklahoma officers has a medical condition and may try to spread disease, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol wanted poster states.

Officers were called to reports of shots fired in the Wellston, Okla. area around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 23).

Officials said that when authorities arrived to the scene, Michael Vance opened fire with an AK-47, injuring two Wellston police officers.

The officer’s injuries are non-life-threatening injuries. Vance then allegedly shot and carjacked a woman, who always sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The woman’s car was reportedly found where two people were shot to death just before midnight.

Authorities also believe that Vance is also connected to another shooting in Beckham County, in which one person was injured. There is now an arrest warrant out of Oklahoma County for Vance.

According to a wanted posted released by OHP, Vance has a medical condition and may try to spread disease. He is considered armed and dangerous.
